Ted contracted menningitis last year, and it was a long time for him to be able to come home from the hospital. But he did! In late September his daughter Debbie died as a result of Cancer, and it took a terrible toll on Ted. At our 60th wedding anniversary party, everyone expressed concern over him. He had suffered with a brutal headache for several days, and didn't want to go to the hospital because of his fear of relapse of mennigitis. The ER doctors gave him medication for the pain and he lapsed into a deep sleep for 8 days when he awoke, he could not use his hands, arms, and legs. He was taken to a re hab facility and worked hard to become independent again. On December 28, he suffered a serious drop in blood pressure, and again became unconcious! He never regained fully concious state, and on January 1, 2023 menningitis took him from us . We, his family are devastated. Please keep us in prayer. Viewing will be at 9 :AM Friday at Volpe Funeral Home, and burial will be at St Peter and Paul Cemetery, Broomal, PA.

I am so sorry to hear this- I first got to know Ted in 9th grade Mr Wears class.
