After high school, I attended Penn State University, and in my junior year, I started taking Computer Science classes, making Dean’s list twice after that. (Prior to that time, I was just barely making it.) After graduating in 1966, I worked 2 years for Philco-Ford in Willow Grove, traveling to England, Viet Nam, and Alaska. I then worked for Burroughs Corp in Paoli, traveling several times to Germany. In 1974 I moved to Mclean, and then Vienna, Virginia to work for Analytics Inc. which required some business travel to Italy. I also married in 1974 to an instant family, as my then spouse’s boys Troy was 5 and Todd was 2. Then in 1975, I witnessed the birth of my first daughter, Renee. Mathew was born just 16 months later. In 1977 we moved to Moorestown NJ as I took a position with Data Systems Analysis as a consultant with extensive travel to Munich, Germany. In 1979, I started my own consulting company, Commsys, Inc. In 1980, I adopted Troy and Todd. In 1980-1, my company built then installed the WNBC-TV transmitter plant control system on the 104th floor of World Trade Center 1. In 1984 I separated, and in 1986 was divorced. In 1985, I started dating Laura, and in 1989 we got married. In 1991, I watched my 2nd daughter Katie being born. After several more years of consulting, I took a position with a company I was consulting to. In 2001 I decided to semi-retire, and consulted part time for the next few years. In 2007 I rode my bicycle across America, in 2008 I received my Yoga training certification, and in 2009, I broke my foot, and didn’t accomplish anything. I hope 2010 is better.
