I just looked at this site, and saw that Carol, with whom I'd been talking at the reunion, had died. Carol and I never got around to getting together for lunch, which we sincerely planned to do, in part because not too many months after the reunion, my beloved fiance John, who was with me at the reunion, died suddenly and unexpectedly. I had been thinking of Carol lately and planning to call her. I just glanced again at this part of the site, and saw this notice about Carol and feel devastated at learning of her loss. What a sweet, caring, bouncy personality she had. I'm sure her early departure from the class is felt as a great sorrow by all of us.
